Argentina Jeopardy

View on the Cityscape of Rosario from the Tower of the National Flag Monument, Argentina
You are looking at the third-largest city in Argentina which is only five car hours away from Buenos Aires. The city that lies on the Parana River in the province of Santa Fe is considered the cradle of Argentina's national banner. A great way to observe the cityscape is from the tower of its famous landmark, a patriotic monument that was built to honor Argentina's flag and its creator General Manuel Belgrano. What else do we know about this city? The famous/infamous Ernesto 'Che' Guevara was born here. Students appreciate the opportunity to choose from more than ten national colleges and enjoy the vivid nightlife that comes with them.
Have you guessed the city yet?

Nope; no name comes to mind, but that's due to my ignorance...

Looks like it was designed as a huge V.

Nice photo. I'm wondering if it is a matter of pride that Che Guevara was born there?

So what's the city? I've seen "Motorcycle Diaries" and I can't remember. Beautiful photo.

I loved "Motorcycle Diaries" and I take this to be Rosario judging from the clue at the bottom of the text.

This is a cool image. I too think it is a giant V. Is certainly plays tricks on the eyes.

Very cool photo. The "V" effect is fascinating.

Rosario? I did not guess, I looked at the clue too.
Yesterday I thought of you because I saw an hour long documentary on Buenos Aires done by a French group from France 24. It was well done, it showed the other side of BA, the poor, the sick, the resilience of the people, the generosity, the imagination. It made me fall all over again in love with your city.

There did not seem to be so many skyscrapers in "Diarios de motocicleta".
