Discovering Buenos Aires by Foot

Feet Walking on Scattered Flyers in Buenos Aires, Argentina
I'm a little late on joining the City Daily Photo theme day. This time's topic is feet. Actually, feet are made for walking and I thought this picture would be an appropriate contribution. Buenos Aires is far too big to just walk it all up but I consider walking as a great way to discover the city. All other types of moving around may be more convenient and faster but they are less rewarding.
How do you prevent blisters from walking?

You don't say anything about the messy papers!!!
Good shoes and socks!! or if you want to be elegant you accept the blisters!!

Walking is also a very environmentally friendly mode of transportation. Keep on walking!

Nice posting for the feet theme...what are they all walking on? Did someone drop something?

Nice theme photo! Obviously, that paper they're walking over isn't too important, and it can't be money. Looks like lottery tickets.

Buenos Aires feet! Meet Argentina feet! Greet walking feet on the South American street! Left feet, right feet, don't cry for me Argentina feet! Your theme FEET were a treat! EAGAN daily photo feet greet from my friendly Minnesota feet street!

Better late than never. Yeah, what's with all the paper on the floor? Is it a stock exchange, or a racetrack after a race?

Just discovered your blog and I like it very much! That kind of litter happens often here in Italy too. Just a bunch of advertising someone dumped on the ground. It will stay there until the street cleaners come by, right?

All the litter comes from a demonstration that took place a little earlier. The papers are political campaign flyers promoting the Justicialist Party and Cristina Fernández de Kirchner the current President of Argentina. They have the typical Argentine colors, light blue and white.
