Big Fat Blob Graffiti

Jabba the Hutt Takeoff in Palermo Buenos Aires, Argentina
This graffiti reminds me so much of Jabba the Hutt from Star Wars. You know the 600-year-old big fat slug that sits around and eats crazy looking lobsters for snacks. I assume there is a link between the painter and George Luckas' Star Wars trilogy. Thus I guess the artist is probably male, in his 30s and a science fiction fan.
This begs the question, do you also believe that this is a funny Jabba the Hutt takeoff or is it just a wonderfully weird image?

I don't know anything about Jabba or Star Wars so I can't comment about that...it is a funny cartoon in many ways. Yes, and weird!

I'm probably the only person in the world that doesn't know a thing about Star Wars.

I do find the pair of upside-down eyes on the blob to be quite interesting.

Amazing how many people around the world post graffiti shots. These are great. It must mean the artists are indeed making people think? These ones remind me of a kids book I used to read called the Momins. The beasts on this wasll look like Moomins!

Well, I am obviously not doing well in keeping up with American popular culture. To me pink figure looked like Patrick the starfish in Sponge Bob. Maybe, Patrick is related to this slug?

Great stuff. I love really graphic, bold street art like this.

ha, very cool graffiti.

So many people simply write things or their initials, I appreciate it when people are more creative
