This is a picture of a very typical Fruteria and Verduleria in Buenos Aires with a sidewalk display of fruits and vegetables. Many small business owners use the space in front of their stores to offer all kinds of assorted goods. I really like the fact that the fruits and vegetables are mostly sorted by color which makes it a typically eye-catching display.

This arrangement is truly eye-catching. Do customers help themselves from the frontal displays?
It caught my eye. Krogers, a giant supermarket chain here in the states, does their produce department something like this. Stacking like things together in neat rows.
I've never tried this, so I'm not sure. I guess it is not really welcome, though. I would say just try it. Don't worry most Porteños are very polite and won't bite.
So pretty and good looking. I bet they taste good too!
And I like how they're set up vertically and actually compose the walls! Wonderful!
I wonder how they serve the customer ? The vertical set up looks great anyway.
In Kiev we can only dream about such variety of tropical fruits! We envy you :)
