Tipa Tree Avenue in Buenos Aires

Tipa Trees and Traffic in Palermo, Buenos Aires
In fact, there are many streets in Buenos Aires that have those splendid tipa and plane trees around. The spreading branches provide shade and a nice cooling effect in the summer heat. It was just great to walk under their canopy watching the denizens and the rushing traffic on the streets of Palermo.

Those are not tipas, they are platanos.

Indeed, most of the trees in the picture are plane trees. There are very few tipas on the left side of the road. So this post is not aptly titled. "Plane tree avenue in Buenos Aires" would definitely fit better. Thank you.
