I met these three young ladies in a boutique in Buenos Aires. Unfortunately, only one of the three was in the mood to strike a pose, the others just turned away when they saw the camera. They all appeared as if they were from the year 2081. Obviously the Argentine ideal of beauty must have strongly changed by then. Oversized eyes and extremely small snub noses in combination with a hypoplastic midface seem to be en vogue. Not to mention the other futuristic body modifications like the hook head. Their hairstyle, however, is more like a remembrance of the last century.

These are a bit weird! Perhaps the boutique is trying to be a leader in "trendiness," or start a new fad.
Mannequins are usually goofy-looking, but these are worse.
Sheesh!
Haha! Well if people DO look like that in 2081 I'm GLAD I won't be around. ;-) They do look a bit...no, actually, they look a lot strange.
they look like Japanese cartoon characters or childrens toys. I hope we don't look like that in the future.
I hope you asked permission to take their photo.
Is this clothing for little girls or adults? Very weird, but they make for a great photo. Also liked the nightclub shot - Buenos Aires seems so cosmopolitan.
hmmm, hook head, why would THAT need to be evloved....
I imagine the boutique had to order them made so a lot of thought was put into these. Still, like the others said, I hope we don't look like this in the future. Especially with that nose :)
I wish I could see if it comes to pass.
It takes all kinds.
B Squared may just live a hundred more years to see it happen but for me I'll take the beautiful Argentine women as they look today. Too gorgeous to morph into these strange futuristic creatures. I hope it doesn't happen...ever!
j aime assez ;O)
