I always imagined it was fascinating because it combined faded old European elegance, the constant attraction to the poor of Europe and Latin America to come here and struggle for a better life, and competition with São Paulo to be the economic and financial powerhouse of an entire continent.ABhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17159965456052359554noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1852451045058053520.post-37725426581921920522009-12-03T10:19:01.381-08:002009-12-03T10:19:01.381-08:00I have something more to say. It might be the fact that folks are friendly and I talked to so many people when I was there. I also think that most people are content with the prepackaged tourist images of a place because 1. they have limited time to explore that place 2. they don't know how to do it themselves 3. for security reasons.Andreeahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06543947975157342835noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1852451045058053520.post-47347942219473342882009-12-02T11:12:26.968-08:002009-12-02T11:12:26.968-08:00You are totally correct.
